How we work together

First meeting and survey: site visit, review of existing drawings and consumption.
Energy analysis: calculation of the current state and comparison of useful measures such as insulation, windows or building services.
Retrofit design with details on thermal bridges, airtightness and junctions.
Requesting and comparing contractor quotes.
Site supervision during execution and quality control on site.
Final energy calculation, certificate and documentation for incentives.

Time and cost

A survey with proposed measures is usually ready in two to four weeks. Execution takes from a few weeks to several months depending on scope. Costs depend on the size and condition of the building, the desired energy class and whether design, site supervision and incentive applications are handled by one office.

Legal basis

National energy performance rules apply (Legislative Decree 192/2005 and Ministerial Decree 26.06.2015 on minimum requirements), together with the Province of Bolzano's provisions on building energy efficiency and the Technical Guideline of the KlimaHaus Agency. Specific KlimaHaus standards exist for retrofitting existing buildings.

Service area

We work throughout Val Venosta - from Resia, Curon and Malles via Prato, Lasa and Silandro to Naturno - in the Burgraviato around Merano and on request throughout South Tyrol. Our office is based in Prato allo Stelvio; site visits are standard for us. We work in German and Italian.

Where does an energy retrofit start?

With a survey of the existing condition. Only when we know where the building loses energy can we tell which measures make sense and in what order.

Do I have to retrofit everything at once?

No. On request we prepare a plan for phased measures that does not compromise later steps.

Do you also handle site supervision?

Yes. Design, site supervision and energy calculations from a single office.

Are there incentives for retrofits?

Yes, national tax deductions and grants from the Province of Bolzano. The requirements change often; we check the current situation for your project.

How long does a retrofit take?
