For a single-family house the structural design usually takes two to six weeks, longer for larger residential or commercial buildings. The effort and therefore the fee depend mainly on the size and complexity of the structure, the condition of the existing building, the number of design changes and whether structural site supervision and acceptance inspection are included. After the first meeting you receive a written quote.
The basis is the Italian Technical Standards for Construction NTC 2018 (Ministerial Decree 17.01.2018) with Circular no. 7/2019 and the Eurocodes, plus the provincial rules for filing, submission and acceptance inspection.
